Are UFO and Aliens Demonic? Top Perspectives and Angles

Undoubtedly, the discovery of aliens can be mind-blowing in different respects. However, it would present a unique dilemma for various religions in the world.

In particular, Christians may take this issue the hardest because their belief system does not allow any intelligent beings in the universe like aliens. Weidemann, a philosophy professor at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany, said: “According to Christianity, a historical event some 2,000 years ago was supposed to save the whole of creation.”

In this post, you will find the answer to “are aliens demonic?” or “are UFOs demonic?”

Christian Worldview

Some people are not sure what they want to believe. Some individuals wish for aliens to be real and love cool spaceships. However, aliens may require some hard work to rethink everything, or they can make it easier to determine whether biblical miracles also refer to high-technology alien stunts.

If the Christian worldview is true, it might mean that there is one God, the Gospel is true, etc. Plus, it means the existence of God-created intelligent beings who are not humans. There are also angels, where some of them are rebelled – fallen angels or demons.

Religion and Aliens Coexistence

Like humans, extraterrestrials might not be sinners, so they do not need “saving.” On the other hand, the principle of mediocrity draws doubt on this idea. Remember that this principle involves someone’s example that is most likely typical until they get evidence to the contrary.

Self-described protestant Christian Weidemann said, “If there are extraterrestrial intelligent beings at all, it is safe to assume that most of them are sinners too.”

“If so, did Jesus save them too? My position is no. If so, our position among intelligent beings in the universe would be very exceptional,” he added.

There is another theory that God has incarnated several times, where he has sent a version of Himself to save every inhabited planet. On the other hand, God’s incarnations might be around 250 places simultaneously, with every incarnation taking around 30 years.

Unearthly Beings as Aliens

If humans have enough idea of what physically possible and accursed things is, the Christian hypothesis considers the phenomena as demonic. Plus, if unearthly beings pose as aliens, demons will show themselves obviously supernatural beings.

Therefore, this would be more of a test for aliens than demons. So, it is more of a negative test instead of a positive one. It could not produce many false negatives if aliens were mistaken for supernatural beings while delivering several false positives if supernatural beings were mistaken for aliens.

Unearthly Beings as Demons

In C.S. Lewis’ space trilogy, aliens worship God, while in the famous book Eifelheim, aliens only want to go home. The book introduced readers to a big-hearted yet narrow-minded man who thought that demons were actually demons, but the book’s protagonist says aliens are not demons.

It is similar to Harvesters, Wookies, Klingons, or Vulcans that are not demons. However, if humans meet unearthly beings from UFOs and they want humans to worship them, or humans find that these unearthly beings are delighted in evil and enjoy suffering for their own sake, or they want humans to put all their hope and trust in their sky dwellers race, then it is a different story.

If those scenarios could prove that aliens are demons, they seem to be evil physical beings demanding human worship. In other words, the test might not prove that UFOs and aliens are demonic. Instead, it could possibly deliver solid evidence that they are not demonic or only look like demons
